Bio

My understanding of how mindfulness can make a positive impact on professional effectiveness stems from my own lessons learned as a former practicing attorney and now as a legal-education student services professional. On the busiest days we tend to be more reactive than proactive, but there is a better way. Training our attention to focus on what is most important, moment-by-busy-moment can make all the difference.

If we miss out on our lives, we can’t possibly do our best work. Mindfulness means consciously opting in to the present moment which we might otherwise take for granted. After all, opportunities for success and connection with others are always right in front of us — here and now.

Intent on creating a life filled with adventure, accomplishment, and meaningful connections I am enthusiastic about sharing insights on mindful living with organizations and professionals.
